Czech Airlines Airbus A310-300 (1:200)

In July 1978 the European manufacturer Airbus began work on their second aircraft, the A310. It would be a medium-to long-range wide-body airliner based on the Airbus larger first aircraft the A300. The first flight of the A310 took place on April 3, 1982 with the first service flight in April 1983 with Lufthansa. In 1985 the A310-300 production began as a longer range version of the A310-200 and is capable of carrying an additional 15,430 pounds of fuel in its tail-plane. The last A310 was delivered in June 1998.

Czech Airlines (CSA) operated 4 Airbus A310's. The first to be delivered was OK-WAA s/n 564 that arrived in Prague on February 14, 1991 and was in service with CSA until June 19, 2009. The first CSA A310 scheduled flight took place on March 4, 1991. Aircraft OK-WAB s/n 567 was an Airbus A310-304/ET named "Bratislava" and was delivered on March 12, 1991 and was in service with CSA until it was sold to Mahan Airlines and left Prague on December 15, 2008 registered as EX-35003. CSA sold all 4 A310s, 2 to Mahan, 2 to Blue Line.
