    The Swiss Ju-Air was founded in 1982 and took over the last four aircraft of the vintage plane from assets of the Swiss Air Force. In remembrance of its location of origin, namely the Junkers-plants in Dessau, Germany, it was named after its home town at that very place on October 3, 2010.
