Item Number: P-1261The last wing authorized in WWII was the Flight Engineer. But prior to its being issued some of the flight engineers had a jeweler take an Observer Wing and solder an 'E' on its face making their own 'Engineer' wings. This is a reproduction of this rare type of unofficial wing in a 1 3/8 inch pin back made in sterling silver for wearing on the overseas hat.
